Glen Austin Residents Association (GARA) is a voluntary community organisation focused on preserving the character of Glen Austin and supporting a safer, healthier and well-maintained environment for all residents.

GARA operates under its community-driven mandate to develop plans, organise initiatives and take action that supports safety, environmental care and responsible development in the area.

GARA relies on membership fees, donations, sponsorships and volunteer support to carry out its work and community projects.

By becoming a member, donating or volunteering, you support GARA’s vision and mission, and authorise the organisation to collect membership fees or donations as per the amount and method selected during signup.

The GARA committee holds decision-making authority on behalf of the organisation and will act within its mandate to support and uplift the community.

I understand that GARA’s ability to respond to issues or carry out projects depends on available resources, volunteer capacity and funding. No guaranteed long-term assistance is implied.

As a voluntary donor or member, I may cancel my recurring payment or membership at any time through my membership page or by contacting the committee.

I acknowledge that membership or donations do not entitle me to direct personal services or benefits beyond those provided to the community as a whole.

GARA cannot guarantee specific outcomes from its initiatives and cannot be held liable for damages resulting from gross neglect or wilful behaviour by any staff, volunteers or representatives.
